Thanks for checking out the official website of Sons Of Serevi RFC. Sons of Serevi RFC are a UK based 7s Rugby Social Club founded in the Summer of 2006 by 7 close friends. The club currently has three teams established and all three are playing the UK 7s circuit, Sons of Serevi, Daughters of Serevi and Siblings of Serevi.  The Sons; an all mens team, The Daughters; an all womens team and the Siblings; a mixed touch team. The teams are coached by 2 qualified regular rugby players/coaches and each squad is ever growing and always looking to recruit more players. With 2006 being our debut year, since then we have spent most of the Summertime travelling the UK entering and participating in many tournaments including Nottingham Solstice 7s, Cwmtawe, Church, Newquay and we have rapidly become popular throughout the social 7s circuit, having a great time both on and off the field. 2008 has been the launch year for the Womens team - Daughters of Serevi - and from recent early performances from all teams the club seems to be going from strength to strength. The Daddy. Probably the best sevens player ever. He holds an unparalleled record at sevens with five Hong Kong titles and one World Cup winners’ medal to his name, along with three Hong Kong Most Valuable Player awards. His vision and ingenuity with ball in hand make him a most dangerous opponent. Following a legendary playing career, in August 2009, the Papua New Guinea Rugby Football Union hired Serevi to become their sevens development officer on a five-year contract. He was later tapped as the national sevens coach.

He is know in the 7s world as 'The Wizard', he's known to us as Daddy. In honour of the legend of the game we decided to call the club Sons of Serevi.
